Coach Kevin is a former college baseball player at the Community College of Rhode Island (2021-2023-NJCAA) and coach for the Shoreline Breakers. Playing as a catcher his freshman season and then transitioning to a pitcher after 2 concussions and then tearing his labrum mid season his Sophomore year, Kevin decided to hang up the cleats and help the next generation of players by coaching. Coach Kevin has been coaching for 4 years and has coached players between the ages of 8-18, many who have gone on to play at the Collegiate level. In addition to coaching, Coach Kevin has worked for Prep Baseball Report New England as an assistant to the Regional Scouting Director helping at showcase events and scouting new england high school games. Prior to playing in college and beginning coaching, Kevin worked at Dodd Stadium as a bat boy for the Class A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. As a bat boy he got to learn from countless professional players and coaches such as Hall of Famer Alan Tramell. After 2 summers as a bat boy he was a baseball operations intern at the ballpark in addition to being a bat boy for the next 3 summers.  He is originally from East Haddam and attended Saint Bernards High School where he graduated in 2019 and was named the Eastern Connecticut Conference Umpires Player of the Year in 2019
